The next day of Diwali is celebrated to mark the lifting of the Mountain Govardhan by Bhagvaan Shri Krishna on his finger tip. This festival is also observed as Annakoot meaning mountain of food. Devotees prepare a huge varieties of food and sweets which are raised in the form of a mountain before Bhagvanji as "Bhog" (the offering of food). Annakoot is a reminder to people of the importance of food and to be thankful to Bhagvaan ji for the generous gift of nature.
